U.S ''Black Lives Matter'' Protests In U.S And Around The Globe

George Floyd's name is now known around the globe .He is an unarmed black man killed in police custody in Minneapolis , Minnesota on 25 May, video showed a white police officer kneeling on his neck for almost nine minutes while he is pinned to the floor.
The extraordinary cruelty of his killing has shocked the world. Hundreds of thousands of Americans took to the streets, in big cities and small towns , from cost to cost. Around 140 cities of 50 states throughout the US have been protesting against police violence and systemic racism.

Trump's Statement on the murder of George

     Trump said in his tweet:
''The death of George Floyd on the streets of Minneapolis was a grave tragedy. It should never have happened. It has filled Americans all over the country with horror, anger, and grief.'' also he added ;AAA
My administration will always stand against violence, mayhem, and disorder. We shall stand with the peaceful protesters, and with every law-abiding citizen who wants decency, civility, safety and security.

How Trump React toward protest:   Across the country, protests mainly peaceful by day have been marred by violence after dark. President Trump has threatened to take the extraordinary step of ending, U.S.military to quell growing civil unrest in U.S over the death of George Floyd.
He said if cities and states failed to control the protests and ''defend their residents'' he would deploy the army and ''quickly solve the problem for them''.

U.S Police arrested over 10,000 protester :   More than 10,000 protesters have been arrested by U.S police during protest many are non-violent , as police forces use rubber bullet, pepper spray, tear gas on protesters, media and bystanders.                                                                                                                                                                                    Jarah Gibson was arrested on 1 June while she was non-violently protesting in Atlanta,Georgia. she said;
'' Around 7:30 pm , ahead of Atlanta's 9 pm city-wide curfew, police began boxing in protesters . while protesters were attempting to leave, Gibson tried to video record a person an a bicycle who appeared to be hit by a ''pedestrian in a roadway'' and refusing to comply when asked to leave.''
The police are instigating everything and they are criminalizing us. Now i have my mugshot taken, my finger prints taken and eye scanned. Now I'm criminal over an illegal arrest.

Reports of excessive police force throughout the protests have emerged around the U.S. More than 130 reports of journalist being attacked by police have been recorded since 28 may.
Several protesters and bystanders around U.S have been left hospitalized from rubber bullet wound, bean bags ,tear gas and batons, while police have reportedly torn down medical tents and destroyed water bottles meant for protesters.
President TRUMP in his overnight tweets, he thanked the Police, Secret Service and National Guard for doing a ''fantastic job'' and said that the  Washington crowd was ''much smaller than anticipated.

Now it become Globe Protests.

1.Protests in UK :  Thousands of people gathered outside the UK parliament and the US embassy in London to protest against racism, despite official warnings to stay away for fear of  spreading COVID-19 infections                                                                                    In Bristol, protesters in solidarity pulled down a statue of a 17th-Century slave trader.

Meanwhile British Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted on Sunday that the anti-racism protests in U.k were ''subverted by thuggery '' after some protesters clashed with police in London:
'' People have a right to protest peacefully and while observing social distancing but they have no right to attack the police. These demonstrations  have been subverted by thuggery- and they are a betrayal of the cause they purport to serve. Those responsible will be held to account.''

2.K-Pop group statement:
The K-pop group's music label , Big Hit Entertainment, on Sunday told Reuters that BTS had donated $1 million to BLM in early June. The seven-member BTS wrote on its twitter account that they are against racism and violence with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter.

Many protesters in France draw a parallel between George Floyd's and Adama Traore a young black man who died in police custody in north in pairs four year ago. Traore's family has repeatedly claimed police officers tackled him to the ground and that he died due to suffocation.
