Education plays important role in the development of a country in every field.it also play important role in social and economic development of country.
PAKISTAN: pakistan public expenditure on education as percent of the GDP is estimated at 2.4% in the fiscal year 2018-2019 ,the lowest in the region ,revealed te economic survey 2018-2019 released on monday.
Literacy Rate : Literacy stood at 62.3 percent in 2017-2018 (as compared to 60.7 percent in 2014-2015) Male Literacy↑ Rate: 71.6-72.5% ; Female Literacy ↑Rate : 49.6-51.8% Rural area = 49.6-51.8% ; Urban area= 76.0-76.6% Khyber Pakhtunkhwa =54.1-55.3% ; punjab =61.9-64.7% Balochistan =54.3-55.3% ; sindh =63.0-62.2%

Comparison Between pakistan and Other Countries Education System.
Pakistan has a lot of universities, All are considered to provide quality education. But still there are a lot of flaws and issues .other countries are moving forward in fields of education.Foreign countries are struggle with one ambition of quality education and takes as much part as possible in the latest going on discoveries and innovation.
1.Ancient Universities: It has only been 72 years since pakistan came in to existence and it also took sometime to stable .many universities of pakistan are not very old .most of world top are hundreds of year old.if pakistan had some universities as oxford ,harvard it would have developed a lot by now.
2.Theoretical Education: Pakistan education focuses more on theory rather than practical .PES does't allow creativity ,in foreign countries they focus more on practical based learning and they allow creativity in education. pakistan education is formality and part of routine.many student get degree of Engineering or Medical field;whether you learn something or need .In foreign countries education is taken as a learning process.
3.Syllabus/Curriculum Updation: Pakistan syllabus is 20+ years old.we can't compete with modern world of education with this quality. we need to come wit fresh and latest knowledge which can be compered to foreign updated curriculum to overcome the challenges of quality education in pakistan. pakistan education system is very bad in adopting latest technologies in curriculum .in foreign countries curriculum changes with upgradation of technology.
4.Learning Methode: Pakistan Education System hasn't changed much after independence. student required to memorize facts and figures,thousands of equation of maths, birth and death dates of freedom fighters ,chemical equation, chemical reactions and many other things. while in foreign they impact knowledge in students through practical implementation.
5.Career Counselling: In Pakistan most of the students have no idea ,what field should choose to specialize in. there is no counselling provided in school and colleges.in short we go with the flow.student are not given choice to select their field.
in foreign countries one year before field selection is for counselling. they are provided with the environment to explore dozen of fields.
